Cristina Sabaiduc

Based in the UK, Cristina worked with Jeremy Laing and Carolina Herrera before starting her label with a SS13 collection in London. Her creations combine powerful prints with innovative textiles resulting in wearable pieces that take on wardrobe classics with a twist. The designer’s keen eye for silhouettes and meticulous attention to detail is showcased by the simplest of changes in the structure of her creations, while her exclusive digital prints, in collaboration with the talented photographer Jo Holland, bring unexpected pieces to life.

Utilising organic materials such as medieval stained glass windows from the V&A museum, everyday household liquids such as balsamic vinegar and wine, crustacean shells and plastic, Cristina questions the coexistence of natural and industrial elements in our environment and their impact in our lives. Cristina Sabaiduc is currently stocked at luxury stores such as Fortnum & Mason and is regularly seen in major press titles such as Elle and Vogue to name a few.
